1. Who we are and how to reach us
Propefi is a brand of X7 LLC ("Propefi," "we," "us," or "our"), located in Los Angeles, California. You can reach us about privacy at privacy@propefi.com, by phone at 310-570-0409, or by mail at X7 LLC, Attn: Privacy, Los Angeles, CA.
This Policy applies to visitors to our website, people who join our homeowner early access list, and users of the Propefi platform. It does not apply to third-party websites or services we link to.
2. California Notice at Collection
This section is our "notice at collection" under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"). We provide it at or before the point we collect your personal information.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require an option to limit under the CCPA.
3. How we collect information
- Directly from you — when you join the early access list, create an account, upload documents or photos, or contact support.
- Automatically — through cookies and similar technologies that keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure site performance.
- From service providers — hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, and document-scanning vendors acting on our instructions.
- From parties you authorize — for example a prior owner transferring a property record to you, or a contractor you invite to add a service entry.
4. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Propefi platform and property records.
- Notify you when early access opens in your area and send product updates you request.
- Generate reports, reminders, and insights at your direction.
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- Secure the service, detect and prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Comply with legal obligations and defend legal claims.
We will not use your personal information for a materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purpose without first providing notice.
5. How we disclose information
We disclose personal information only for business purposes, to the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers and contractors — cloud hosting, database, email, analytics, customer support, and document-processing vendors, each contractually limited to our instructions.
- People you choose — buyers, agents, contractors, insurers, or warranty companies you explicitly share a report or record with, and the new owner when you transfer a property record.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- Corporate transactions — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not disclose your property records to real estate professionals, service providers, or warranty companies for their own marketing without your consent.
6. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know and access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of recipients.
- Delete — request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — direct us not to sell or share your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of; you may still submit a request and we will confirm our practice.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring this right.
- Data portability — receive your information in a portable, readily usable format.
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right. We do not offer financial incentives for personal information.
How to submit a request
Email privacy@propefi.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request," or call 310-570-0409. We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days, with one 45-day extension where reasonably necessary (we will tell you if we need it).
Verification. To protect you, we verify requests by matching the email address and, where applicable, account and property information you provide against our records. We may ask for additional information for high-risk requests. We use information submitted for verification only for that purpose.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent. We will require written permission signed by you, verification of your identity directly with us, and proof of the agent's authority (including a power of attorney where applicable).
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Propefi does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This section serves as our required notice and request channel. To submit an opt-out request or to confirm our practices in writing, email privacy@propefi.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share." We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and other recognized opt-out preference signals sent by your browser.
Shine the Light (California Civil Code § 1798.83)
California residents may request once per calendar year information about personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. To make a request, email privacy@propefi.com with "Shine the Light Request" in the subject line.
California minors (Business & Professions Code § 22581)
Propefi is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older. A registered user under 18 who resides in California may request removal of content or information they posted by emailing privacy@propefi.com. Removal may not be complete or comprehensive where law requires retention.
Do Not Track (California Business & Professions Code § 22575)
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. There is no common industry standard for responding to them, and Propefi does not currently respond to DNT signals. We do not permit third parties to track your activity across other websites through our service.
7. Security and retention
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, tamper-evident record storage, and least-privilege practices to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We retain personal information for the periods described in the Notice at Collection above, or longer where required to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
In the event of a breach of unencrypted personal information, we will notify affected California residents as required by California Civil Code §§ 1798.29 and 1798.82.
8. Your choices
- Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message we send.
- Ask us to delete your early access list entry at any time.
- Control cookies through your browser settings.
- Choose what any report you share includes, and revoke access you have granted.
9. Residents of other states and countries
If you live in a state with a comprehensive privacy law (for example Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, or Oregon), you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and port your information, and to appeal a denied request. Email privacy@propefi.com and we will honor these rights as required by applicable law. Propefi is operated from the United States and information is processed here.
10. Changes to this Policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users and early access subscribers before they take effect.
